Stanford Summer Day Camp Registration 2025 - Camp Swim Lessons STANFORD SUMMER CAMP 2025We're so excited to announce our first (EVER!) summer camp at the Stanford Rec! Below you'll find all of the relevant and current information for the camp. Please know that all decisions that have been made to bring this camp to our community have been made with careful and calculated consideration. Decisions have been based on feedback given by the community, as well as thoughtful research and budgetary assessments that we hope will lay a successful foundation to build upon for years to come. We appreciate our community's support in helping make this inaugural year a success. TIME9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (drop-off will begin at 8:45 a.m.)Optional: Late pick up at 4 p.m. for a $20 fee per child/day. You must be registered and paid for late pick up one week prior to the week your child is attending camp. Registration is open now but not required.PRICING AND RESIDENCY
Resident: $185/child per week.
A resident is defined as someone who (or the address you reside at) pays property taxes to the Town of Stanford. Your mailing address may not be Stanfordville, but property taxes must be paid to the Town of Stanford to be considered a resident. Proof of residency will be required upon registration (examples: tax bill, utility bill, lease agreement). Please use the red link at registration to upload proof, or email recreation@townofstanford.org with proof. Email the above email address with any questions.
Non- Resident: $235/child per week. A non-resident is anyone outside of the Town of Stanford property tax roll.
Registration is first come, first served.AGEKiddos entering Kindergarten in fall of 2025 and older. We will use the district age cut-off requirement: must be age 5 by December 1, 2025.WHEN REGISTERING: Grades will roll up on June 1st. You can register your child in their current grade, even if it's Pre-K.PAYMENT AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All weeks must be paid in full after April 30th.
If not paid in full by April 30th, we can move people from the wait list to your spot.
Cancellation fee of $50 if cancelling after May 1st.

We are hoping to utilize our local resources such as the Stanford Library and Stanford Community Garden, as well as bring in some outside businesses and organizations as some of our programming offerings. Our goal is to offer an interesting and engaging day with structure, while also allowing for free play with friends.Kids will need to bring their own lunches, packed preferably in an insulated lunch box as refrigeration will not be available for lunches. Additional documents such as emergency contact and pick up forms, camp guidelines/rules/safety, etc. will be sent out at a later date to registered families.CAMP DIRECTOROur Camp Director is Sarah Beam. Sarah grew up attending the Pine Plains School District and currently is the long-term leave teacher for health education in the middle and high school. She is a NYS Certified Physical Education Teacher and has her Master's degree in Health and Wellness Education. Sarah is also a field hockey and softball coach in the district. Additionally, Sarah worked as the Assistant Director for the last two summers at the Stanford Rec. She is reliable and dedicated and will be a great asset to the camp program. Register early as we anticipate filling quickly. Our goal is to offer an interesting and engaging day with structure, while also allowing for free play with friends.Kids will need to bring their own lunches, packed preferably in an insulated lunch box as refrigeration will not be available for lunches. Additional documents such as emergency contact and pick up forms, camp guidelines/rules/safety, etc. will be sent out at a later date to registered families.CAMP DIRECTOROur Camp Director is Sarah Beam. Sarah grew up attending the Pine Plains School District and currently is the long-term leave teacher for health education in the middle and high school. She is a NYS Certified Physical Education Teacher and has her Master's degree in Health and Wellness Education. Sarah is also a field hockey and softball coach in the district. Additionally, Sarah worked as the Assistant Director for the last two summers at the Stanford Rec. She is reliable and dedicated and will be a great asset to the camp program. Our goal is to offer an interesting and engaging day with structure, while also allowing for free play with friends.Kids will need to bring their own lunches, packed preferably in an insulated lunch box as refrigeration will not be available for lunches. Additional documents such as emergency contact and pick up forms, camp guidelines/rules/safety, etc. will be sent out at a later date to registered families.CAMP DIRECTOROur Camp Director is Sarah Beam. Sarah grew up attending the Pine Plains School District and currently is the long-term leave teacher for health education in the middle and high school. She is a NYS Certified Physical Education Teacher and has her Master's degree in Health and Wellness Education. Sarah is also a field hockey and softball coach in the district. Additionally, Sarah worked as the Assistant Director for the last two summers at the Stanford Rec. She is reliable and dedicated and will be a great asset to the camp program. Resident: $185/child per week.
A resident is defined as someone who (or the address you reside at) pays property taxes to the Town of Stanford. Your mailing address may not be Stanfordville, but property taxes must be paid to the Town of Stanford to be considered a resident. Proof of residency will be required upon registration (examples: tax bill, utility bill, lease agreement). Please use the red link at registration to upload proof, or email recreation@townofstanford.org with proof. Email the above email address with any questions.
Non- Resident: $235/child per week. A non-resident is anyone outside of the Town of Stanford property tax roll.
Registration is first come, first served.AGEKiddos entering Kindergarten in fall of 2025 and older. We will use the district age cut-off requirement: must be age 5 by December 1, 2025.WHEN REGISTERING: Grades will roll up on June 1st. You can register your child in their current grade, even if it's Pre-K.PAYMENT AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All weeks must be paid in full after April 30th.
If not paid in full by April 30th, we can move people from the wait list to your spot.
Cancellation fee of $50 if cancelling after May 1st.
We cannot prorate fees for vacations or missed days
If you are registering AFTER May 1st and paying via cash or check, please submit your payment within a week of registering to hold your spot.
Dutchess County Department of Health requires we have both immunization records as well as current medical history from a physicians office. Please submit this as soon as possible (via mail or email) but NO LATER than May 30th. Campers will not be allowed to attend without these.

We will incorporate swimming; we also hope to incorporate swim lessons for those who may be interested but please allow us time to work on the best way to offer this. We are hoping to utilize our local resources such as the Stanford Library and Stanford Community Garden, as well as bring in some outside businesses and organizations as some of our programming offerings. Our goal is to offer an interesting and engaging day with structure, while also allowing for free play with friends.Kids will need to bring their own lunches, packed preferably in an insulated lunch box as refrigeration will not be available for lunches. Additional documents such as emergency contact and pick up forms, camp guidelines/rules/safety, etc. will be sent out at a later date to registered families.CAMP DIRECTOROur Camp Director is Sarah Beam. Sarah grew up attending the Pine Plains School District and currently is the long-term leave teacher for health education in the middle and high school. She is a NYS Certified Physical Education Teacher and has her Master's degree in Health and Wellness Education. Sarah is also a field hockey and softball coach in the district. Additionally, Sarah worked as the Assistant Director for the last two summers at the Stanford Rec. She is reliable and dedicated and will be a great asset to the camp program. Register early as we anticipate filling quickly.
